Course Description & Objectives

Objectives: The Financial Markets course aims to provide the students an understanding of the role and functions of the financial sector in a modern economy. It introduces the financial instruments used in the financial sector for resource transfer and risk allocation. The course also covers the analytical frameworks, concepts and tools required for the pricing and valuation of financial instruments.
