Course Description & Objectives

Introduction: Course content: The course will help provide students with an understanding of effective communication in the organisational context which will serve as a necessary grounding for building the required skills. They will learn core communication principles, acquire skills related to interpersonal communication and group-level communication, as well as recognise and apply context-specific communication tactics. Objectives:  To develop an understanding of communication processes and challenges To raise awareness about communication dynamics at workplace To help students in applying this understanding and awareness to communicate effectively across different situations To help students to hone interpersonal communication skills and group-level communication skills in the organisational context.

Pedagogy

The pedagogy will include in-class exercises, role plays and case discussions to help students grasp communication principles and strategies.
