Course Description & Objectives
Objective:
The objective of the course is to understand the strategic management using key theories of psychology. The course integrates strategy and psychology to understand the following:
  1. How CEO’s personality and other individual differences influence firm performance.
  2. Role of cognition in strategic choices
  3. Role of elements of positive psychology in entrepreneurship
  4. Understand broad composition and their behavior using social psychology theories
  5. Understanding firm performance using cross-cultural theories.

Pedagogy
The course is designed as an intensive doctoral level course and will run in form of a seminar course. The course will pre-dominantly focus on paper presentations and class discussions.
