Course Description & Objectives
Objectives:
This course helps the participants to
(i) Understand and manage individual and group behavior in the workplace to achieve organizational effectiveness; and
(ii) Understand how organizational design, structure, and culture affect perceptions and behaviors in organizations.
Pedagogy
The course will use a mix of cases, discussions, and exercises. The course relies heavily on participation in class discussions and activities. Course participants need to think critically about concepts and issues raised in the class discussions as well as their experiences in the exercises and outside. They would be expected to present their viewpoint and analysis to the class.
